For those who would like to observe Shavuot at CSS, Family Camp 2 includes an optional Thursday arrival for an additional fee.

Cancelation / Refund Policies

Camp Solomon Schechter (CSS) and the Stampfer Retreat Center (SRC) reserve the right to cancel any event or program due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified immediately should a cancellation occur.

CSS/SRC reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

In such cases, all fees are non-refundable.

If a Participant Cancels:

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the Event Coordinator.
• Refunds are available only if the cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the start of the event or program.
• Cancellations received within 14 days of the event are not eligible for refund.

If CSS/SRC Cancels an Event:

If CSS or SRC cancels an event for any reason, participants will be notified and offered the following options:

• Convert your payment into a tax-deductible donation to Camp Solomon Schechter.
• Apply a credit toward a future CSS/SRC program or retreat within the next 12 months.
• Receive a full refund issued back to the original payment method.

Note: If someone cancels 2 – 4 weeks before the event the manager of the retreat has the discretion to offer the first two options above.
