Priority registration for returning campers opens on September 16. General registration opens on September 30. International applicants receive a 20% discount.
Session 1 and Session 2 are now three-and-a-half weeks long. Combo and Rookie sessions remain two weeks and one week long, respectively. More days at camp means more Judaism, and more Joy! Prices have increased slightly this year in order to accommodate longer sessions, inflated food costs, additional staffing, and increased security measures. Tuition only covers about 80% of our total operating costs – the remainder comes from grants and donations from supporters like you! Our pricing remains highly competitive compared to other camps in the Pacific Northwest and around the country.
Capacity is limited, and sessions routinely sell out. Be prepared to act quickly once registration opens to secure your spot at camp and avoid being waitlisted! If your preferred session is sold out, we urge you to consider attending a different one.

Camp Policies
- A $250 deposit is required for every camper.
- Deposits are charged to the credit card on file.
- If you have a credit from Summer 2024, you may apply your credit towards the deposit. If you are still due a balance after the deposit, we will apply the remainder towards your tuition. We will contact you to confirm this transaction.
- Credit from Summer 2024 is only valid for Summer 2025, after which it will expire.
- Families interested in applying for Financial Aid will still need to pay a $250 deposit per camper.
- A deposit will be collected when adding your camper to a waitlist. Should your child not be accepted into the program all monies paid will be refunded in full (including the deposit).
- Final payment must be received no later than May 1st, 2025.

Families registering online have three payment options:
- Pay in full at time of registration by credit card.
- Pay in full by check within 7 days of registration.
- Pay in three equal installments beginning on the 15th of the month in which you register. Should you register after the 15th of the month, your payment plan will begin the following month.
If none of these options work for your family, please contact us for assistance.
- All cancellations and changes must be made in writing.
- The $250 deposit is fully refundable until January 15th, 2025. Deposits are non-refundable after January 15th, 2025.
- If an applicant signs up for camp after the deposit is non-refundable, the applicant will get 30 days to obtain a full refund following the application date.
- Families can receive a full refund, minus the deposit for cancellations made before March 5th, 2025. Cancellations made after March 5th will result in a loss of 50% of the total camp fee.
- All fees are non-refundable for cancellations made after May 1st, 2025.
- Families who apply for camp after May 1st, 2025 will have ten business days to pay their balance in full. A $250 deposit will be required upon registering. Deposits paid after May 1st, 2025 are non-refundable.
- Exceptions may be available for medical or family emergencies.
- Camp Solomon Schechter reserves the right to dismiss a camper without a refund because of his or her refusal to adhere to the rules and policies outlined in the Parent Handbook.
- Refunds will be returned to your card on file. If you require a refund via check, please contact us.
- All checks and bank drafts returned for insufficient funds will incur a $25 fee assessed on your account.
- If you are awaiting a refund, please do not dispute the charge with your cardholder. Payments that are disputed in error will incur a $50 fee assessed on your account.
- Any carry-over credit is only good for up to one year
