Meet us at the Fire Pit to gather as a camp community where we will sing together and celebrate the opening and closing of each session. Tuck into a yummy S’more while you sit around the Fire Pit and look up at the beautiful night’s sky. Then scale the climbing tower and reach new heights!
Scale the climbing tower and reach new heights!
Where we gather, sing, dance, and, of course, fill ourselves with food!
Our B Side cabins are also near here, featuring full bathrooms and showers, storage cubbies, and brand new bunk beds.
A multipurpose gathering space for singing, dancing, Jewmba, Shabbat services, and more!
The Amphitheater is a central place in camp where everyone gathers as a community. We come together at the Amphitheater for Shabbat services, Shacharit (morning prayer service), evening programs and so much more!
Our zip line course is made up of five platforms and four zips and travels right over the amphitheater and the lakeside field. Gliding through the trees will give you a perfect view of camp and Lake Stampfer!
Play, swim, and slide all over our aqua park, located right in the middle of the beautiful Lake Stampfer! Take dives off the dock! Practice your art skills in the Art Shed/Boat House! Find it all here! All water activities are always supervised by lifeguards and lifejackets are required.
The Beit Knesset (House of Prayer) is both the camp synagogue and a multipurpose space. This octagonal building houses our oren kodesh (Torah arc) and ner tamid (eternal light) and is used for t’fillah (prayers) during inclement weather. Given the limited indoor space at camp, it is also a multipurpose space when the weather is bad.
Next to the Beit Knesset is our organic garden, where campers learn about gardening, from where our food comes, and how Israel has influenced agriculture in the world.
Whether it’s Gaga, Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, 9 Square (and so much more!), the Sports Fields is a place for sports-fanatics to play and a place to try out a new sport you have never played before!
The Staff Lounge is a place for our staff to spend their time off and rejuvenate before rejoining all of the fun at camp! Our Teva Shed is home to the teva program, where Josh Lake teaches our campers all about the outdoors and how to care for the environment.
A home away from home for our Odedim! The Oded Village is a separate living space solely for our Oded participants, a space to catch up on the day with fellow Odedim and spend time bonding as a cohort.
By its very name, the Challenge Course is a place for campers to challenge themselves and build confidence as they attempt the many components of our course. Are you ready to climb to the top of the Leap of Faith?
The Big Leaf Maple has been an iconic location at the camp since the beginning. It is THE meeting place in preparation for heading onto the trails, going on campouts, or just hanging out.
The Beit Am is our sensory chill space, we use it for everything from staff meetings to movie nights and cabin bonding time.
Find your wild in the backcountry of Camp Solomon Schechter! With miles of hiking trails, the Deschutes River, and the Bog, there’s always something new to discover in our 100-acre backcountry.
