We’re excited to announce our 2027 session dates and registration timeline!
Summer Camp 2026 was an amazing experience, with record-breaking interest, attendance, and camper satisfaction. And we can’t wait to welcome your camper back for another unforgettable summer next year!
Priority Registration 1 opens Monday, October 19, 2026.
This registration period is available to:
- Returning campers registering for the same session they attended in 2026
- New siblings of returning campers
Priority Registration 2 opens Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
This registration period is available to:
- Returning campers who would like to switch sessions
- Campers who were previously on a waitlist
General Registration opens Monday, November 2, 2026.

Important Reminders
- All prices include bus transportation to and from camp via Portland, Seattle, or Vancouver.
- Registration is available during your assigned window or any time thereafter.
- Space is limited, and sessions frequently reach capacity. Register promptly when your window opens to have the best opportunity to secure a spot at camp and avoid the waitlist! Should your first-choice session be full, we strongly encourage you to explore alternative session options.
- International applicants receive a 20% discount, as shown in the chart above.
Since 2026, in addition to Oded, we are offering a secondary leadership program for rising 12th graders: Gesher. As its name implies, Gesher (bridge) represents a transition between being a camper and giving back to the community as a staff member.

Payment Policies
Deposits & Tuition
- A deposit is required for every camper. Deposit amounts vary depending on camper type: $500 (Rookie), $750 (Combo), and $1000 (Session/Oded) deposit per camper.
- Deposits are charged to the credit card on file and are fully refundable for two weeks following registration.
- After May 15, 2027, all tuition payments are nonrefundable.
- If you have a credit from 2026, you may apply your credit towards the deposit. If you are still due a balance after the deposit, we will apply the remainder towards your tuition. We will contact you to confirm this transaction.
- Credit from 2026 is only valid for Summer Camp 2027, after which it will expire.
- Families interested in applying for Financial Aid will still need to pay the deposit per camper which is refundable if a scholarship is not provided.
- A deposit will be collected when adding your camper to a waitlist. Should your child not be accepted into the program, the deposit paid will be refunded in full.
Final Payment
- Final payment must be received no later than June 1, 2027.
- Payment plan options are available – see below.
Payment Plans
Families registering online have three payment options:
- Pay in full at time of registration by credit card.
- Pay in full by check within 7 days of registration.
- Pay in three equal installments beginning on the 15th of the month in which you register. Should you register after the 15th of the month, your payment plan will begin the following month.
If none of these options work for your family, please contact us for assistance.
Cancellations
- All cancellations and changes must be made in writing.
- All payments are fully refundable for two weeks following your registration.
- Families can receive a full refund, minus the deposit for cancellations made before March 5, 2027. Cancellations made after March 5 will result in a loss of 50% of the total camp fee.
- If an applicant signs up for camp after the March 5, the applicant will have 30 days to obtain a full refund minus deposit following the application date.
- All fees are non-refundable for cancellations made after May 15, 2027.
- Families who apply for camp after May 15, 2027 will have ten business days to pay their balance in full. A deposit will be required upon registering. Deposits paid after May 15, 2027 are non-refundable.
- Exceptions may be available for medical or family emergencies.
- Camp Solomon Schechter reserves the right to dismiss a camper without a refund because of his or her refusal to adhere to the rules and policies outlined in the Parent Handbook.
Returned Payments & Refunds
- Refunds will be returned to your card on file. If you require a refund via check, please contact us.
- All checks and bank drafts returned for insufficient funds will incur a $50 fee assessed on your account.
- If you are awaiting a refund, please do not dispute the charge with your cardholder. Payments that are disputed in error will incur a $75 fee assessed on your account.
- Any carry-over credit is only good for up to one year.
