Today we did service projects all day. Half of the Gesherot volunteered at a factory that employs mentally disabled adults, while the other half of the group went to a school for children with ceriblopaulsy. I spent most of my time playing sports outside and dancing inside. I found this expeirence rewarding because all the adults had huge smiles on their faces. Afterwards, we went to a kibbutz for a delicious lunch. After lunchwe built tables out of mud and straw for a community service project. We felt very accomplished and were ready for a nice swim in the pool. We finished the long day with another delicious meal at the same kibbutz. I’m excited for our day long hike tomorrow!
