Havdalah And Tzedakah Are Both Special Traditions At Camp
Havdalah Society was introduced in 2020 to honor our most committed donors and the impact they have on camp. This society has grown quickly and your leadership has blown us away! As a result of this growth and your amazing generosity, we increased the entry level from $1,000 when we began to $1,800 in 2022.
What is Havdalah?
Havdalah serves as a separation between Shabbat and the start of the new week. At camp, we love Shabbat so much that we turn Havdalah into a song session to savor the Shabbat feeling as long as possible. The name, “Havdalah Society,” alludes to the magical experience of living in “Jewish time” at camp.
