The challenge course is one of the most beloved areas of camp. It provides campers with the opportunity to work together with their peers in teams, overcome difficult challenges, and above all HAVE FUN!!! We are very excited to introduce this year’s challenge course supervisor, a long time Schechterite and former challenge course staff member, Aria Wexler!

Hi Camp Solomon Schechter community! I’m Aria, and I am excited to return to camp as the Challenge Course Supervisor. A little bit about myself: I am originally from Lake Stevens, Washington, a small town just north of Seattle. However, recently I have been living in Northern California while attending school at University of California, Davis. I’m a junior pursuing a degree in clinical nutrition, with a minor in education. At UC Davis I am on our waterski and wakeboarding team.

This will be my 10th summer spent at my favorite place on earth, camp. One of my favorite parts about camp is how we are constantly working together as a team, whether it’s during Maccabiah, singing songs on Shabbat, cleaning for Nikayon, or my favorite: participating on the challenge course. My favorite activity on the challenge course is the Leap of Faith because it is all about teamwork and אומץ (ometz), courage. I hope to share these experiences with the campers and staff this coming summer.

I am counting down the days until I will be back at camp, working with the kinderlach and madrichim!
