Wow! What an incredible first Shabbat, 2nd session. Our 70th summer is off to a fantastic start. I just love Havdalah at Camp Solomon Schechter, a special time for us to come together as a vibrant Jewish community. As we gather for Havdalah to mark the end of Shabbat, let’s carry the warmth and ruach of our celebration into the week ahead.
As we embark on this new week, remember that we are part of a fully immersive and sacred community where every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build lasting friendships. Our Jewish community is special because it connects us to a rich heritage, meaningful traditions, and a shared sense of identity. Let’s commit to living our values of respect, kindness, and resilience in everything we do.
You’ve waited all year for camp, so take advantage of each opportunity, don’t hold anything back, and live your best lives. Together, we create unforgettable memories and strengthen the bonds that make our camp community so important and unique.
A good week, a week of peace, may gladness reign and joy increase.
Shavua Tov!
