Aleph Sheini/Bet Update!

It’s been a crazy few days around here with Open House, the ending of Aleph Rishon, the beginning of Aleph Sheini and a visit from the Israeli Caravan! Needless to say, we’ve been having a blast.

We are so thrilled to have a new batch of Aleph kids at Schechter, and they have already integrated nicely into camp life. Today they had an Israel carnival in Peulat Sababa and had an opportunity to partake in water Kung Fu with Sensei Jacob Lunen.

Yesterday our Bet campers explored the world of art through music, pottery, mosaic, crafts, and a visit from cartoonist Jordan Gorfinkle, in honor of Yom Omanut (art day).

With things finally calming down after Open House, you can all look forward to more blog posts, videos and podcasts! If you haven’t already subscribed to our podcast you can do so at Schechter’s iTunes Page, or listen to it here on the blog. Check out our most recent, and über topical, Israel Day podcast below, on iTunes or with the ‘Podcasts’ app!
