Create Your Match 4 – A New Matching Opportunity for Camp Solomon Schechter
Camp Solomon Schechter has been selected to participate in the Grinspoon Institute’s Create Your Match 4, a matching gift program to benefit Jewish summer camps. The matching program maximizes gifts by Camp Solomon Schechter donors (including families and businesses) who give a gift of $3,600 or more payable by May 31st 2013. Extended Families can join together for a group gift. We are pleased to be directed by the Grinspoon Foundation to use the monies generated from this challenge grant to make some exciting and necessary capital improvements for Schechter. A portion of the funds will go towards other operating needs.
How Does it Work?
The Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy, a leading Jewish philanthropic institution with a focus on Jewish camping, will match gifts to Camp Solomon Schechter 1:2 providing a wonderful new opportunity to increase the impact of your gift. In this phase of our matching grant we are looking for gifts of $3,600 or more. This program runs until May 31st, 2011 and payment must be completed by May 31st 2013.
