How do you join the Board of Directors?
If you’re an alumni, you may already believe in the philosophy and mission of Camp Solomon Schechter. If you did not spend your own childhood at camp, maybe you have campers now. Come to our Family Camps, get involved, and learn about what we do and how we do it. Then contact our main office or get to know a current Board member, and find out more!
Our Board members are dedicated volunteers, passionate about Jewish life, children, and our community. Helpful skills include: Fundraising, Jewish/Secular Education, Non-profit management, previous Board experience, Social Work, Psychology, Law, Marketing, Accounting, and Human Resources.
