Hi my name is Joel Jacobs and I am from Sammamish, Washington. Last year I took classes in Israel and now I am a student at the University of Oregon. (Go Ducks!!) I am currently undeclared but I am interested in doing something with animals or marketing. At the University of Oregon I am involved with AEPI and QuakePac.
This will be my 11th year at camp!! Camp is one of my favorite places and I love coming back each year. My favorite things about camp are playing sports and just being apart of a great team. Another thing I love about camp is Shabbat and the great songs we sing, as well as the amazing food that is served.
I am really looking forward to showing all of the campers a great camping experience as the River Trips Specialist this year, as well as all of the cool places outside of the main area of camp. There is so much to see at in the woods at Schechter! I can’t wait for camp to start and meet all the returning campers as well as the new campers!!! See everyone soon!!!
