Hello all!

My name is Matan Goodblatt and I will be returning to camp this summer for my 3rd year as the Boy’s Side Supervisor and my 11th consecutive summer at Schechter (that’s more than a year of my life at camp!). I can’t wait for another summer at the happiest place on earth and getting back to helping make sure that all campers have a fun, safe and fulfilling experience.

A little about me: I’m currently a senior at the University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!) and come June will have a B.A. in International Studies with a focuses on International Relations and the Middle East. Over the past five years I have been lucky enough to spend a total of 20 months in Israel on two trips, doing various things such as working on a kibbutz and studying at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. I also play goalkeeper for the Men’s Club Soccer team at the U of O and spend most of my free time playing basketball, hanging out with my friends, or reading.

My favorite thing about Schechter is being able to jump in the lake after getting sweaty and tired after playing basketball. I am most excited to see the buses arrive on the first day and to see all my friends on staff.
